Privacy policy

Short version

The site only collects personal data if you send the “Request a free audit” form. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no ads, and the site itself sets no cookies (the contact page is an exception, see “Cookies and storage”). Cookie-free analytics provided by Cloudflare count page views.

Who is responsible

Data sent through the form is handled by Davy Evrard YORO, trading as Karaba. For any question about your data, email contact@karaba.io.

What is collected

When you send the audit request form:

• your name, company and work email;
• your team size and the pain points you ticked;
• the optional message you write;
• your IP address, used at the moment you send the form to cap requests per minute and for the bot check. It is not added to the email and not kept by the site.

Outside the form, only the analytics measurements described below are sent.

What it is used for

Only to answer your request and set up a first conversation. It is not sold and not used to add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

The form does not write to any database. Your request becomes one email sent to contact@karaba.io. Three providers are involved:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the code that receives the form. Its bot check, Turnstile, looks at technical signals from your browser, not at what you type in the form. Cloudflare’s policy, Turnstile addendum.
• Resend sends the email containing your request, from its European Union region (Ireland). Resend’s policy.
• Zoho Mail hosts the contact@karaba.io inbox. Zoho’s policy.

These companies operate in several countries, so your data may be processed in a country other than yours, under the terms set out in their privacy policies (linked above).

How long it is kept

Audit requests received by email are kept for 3 months, then deleted.

The providers also keep some data under their own rules:

• Resend stores sent emails, including their content, by default. Its pricing page lists 30 days of data retention on the free plan. Resend pricing.
• Zoho Mail: a deleted email first goes to the trash, for a period that depends on the mailbox settings, then stays 30 days on Zoho’s servers before it is permanently erased. Zoho Mail deletion policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data you sent by emailing contact@karaba.io. Where the law that applies to you provides for it, you can also lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how long pages take to load. Every page loads a Cloudflare script (static.cloudflareinsights.com), which sends these measurements to karaba.io. According to Cloudflare, this tool does not collect personal data, uses no cookies or local storage, and does not track visitors across sites. Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

Cookies and storage

The site itself sets no cookies and does not use your browser’s local storage. Fonts are served from the site itself, so nothing is requested from Google Fonts. Two third-party scripts are loaded: Cloudflare Web Analytics on every page, and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page only. To check that you are not a bot, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and User-Agent, and Cloudflare may set cookies on that page that it describes as strictly necessary. Changes

If the way the site handles data changes (for example, by adding a new tool), this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
